I loved A Carnal Christmas. I only started reading Robin L. Rotham a few months ago, and when I saw this one I snapped it up. Rotham knows how to dig deep and give us heroes and heroines with pain, guts, and longing that pull us deep into their story. Read this one - you won't be disappointed. Her men are hot, her women are hotter, and the love they share is a beautiful thing.I am a fan of hers now for life.

Fantastic read. I love this series! This one was a tear jurker though.
Ms Rotham created a series with five amazing characters whose horizons expand with each book. Mandy is an erotic romance author. Her husband Hake is a farmer and the year he breaks a hip badly his cousin Brent and his best friend Joe help bring in the crops. That year they also help satisfy his sex deprived wife with one night of no holds barred decadence. Joe and Brent make it a standing date a couple times a year to visit between jobs.
When the men take on a tomboyish lover AJ they bring her along and the group dynamic grows, changes improves and becomes a solid relationship between the five of them.
The characters are fully realized when you meet them each for the first time. The books have plots. It isn't just about bringing five people together for sex. In this book an unexpected Christmas present arrives and the five have to figure out what to do with it.
All five characters are bisexual, a detail which invites all sorts of combinations of sexual bliss. There is no sex between the cousins but their bond is no less strong.
Start at the beginning and join the Carnal fan club.
While I sincerely hope that this isn't the eve of the carnal series I really can't see where another book could go. This was short, very short and almost devoid of the lengthy and numerous love scenes but still good with a cheerful ending. Worth it if you like the previous books
First time reading this author and I'm pretty sure its my last. This ***SEXY*SIREN*** was just not interested!!! I've read better foursome stories then this!!! The storyline was just flat!!!
I LOVED this! There was quite a lot going on in this little read...much more than just a cute Christmas story. It had a more emotion filled storyline than many full-sized novels I have read. The ending was WONDERFUL. I cried so good. Now to go back and read Carnal #1 and 2.
Finally, another erotic romance writer who "gets it." I hope Ms. Rotham doesn't mind the comparison, but about two years ago I discovered Jayne Rylon and she practically ruined everyone else for me. Almost no one else could compare. Very few erotic writers (for me) seemed to hit that same deep emotional note between characters that breathes a whole new level of intimacy into the relationships, which can make the steamy scenes friggin' blaze off the page. SO, I was elated to discover Ms. Rotham through a friend on FB. I took a chance, bought a copy of A Carnal Christmas and I'm so happy I did. The second I finished it, I bought Carnal Harvast and Carnal Compromise. Ms. Rotham's not afraid to dig deep w/ these characters (making them insecure, vulnerable, and even traumatized), leaving their emotional bonds and those intimate moments so much more powerful. I can't wait to read more of her work!
I love this series by this author and I was thrilled to see more of Hake, Mandy, Brent, AJ and Joe. The story was sexy, emotional and super hot, hot, hot. All the characters had amazing chemistry with one another and the heat just blazed off the pages. The author did such a fantastic job with the scenes between Joe and his late son, Travis that it left me in tears. Wow! That was powerful and so emotional...well done! I loved this story and with the way the story ended, I'm so hoping to get more in the future.
