Chrissy's daughter's story is very touching. Worth reading. I know the author Chrissy personally. Not too many times you'll ever hear about a family like this.
This book highlights to children that our differences are what make us unique and special. The sweet story help children to realize that they are special just how they are!
My children frequently ask me to read this book to them. They really enjoy the story. I have met the girl from the story, as well as the author and they are both wonderful people, and great examples of making the most out of situations. Hopefully your children like the book as much as mine do.
I am 15 and received this book recently. I let my friend read it. He was so into the book when he read about the ladybug. He was so happy to know it was ok to be a different color. He is also 15 and every day he is out the door at 8am looking for any job he can find. Sometimes he has to go a long way for a little work. I think he comes by my house just because I'm also unique. I'm little like Sienna. I'm glad I could share this book to help someone else. Think BIG!
